The short version
We don't upload your registration details or game balances to an account server. When you sign up, your name, email, date of birth and coin balance are saved in your own browser's local storage. Your password is stored as a salted SHA-256 hash, not as plain text.
What gets stored on your device
- vbAgeOk - remembers you confirmed you're 18+.
- vbUsers - account details and play coin balance for accounts made on this browser.
- vbSession - keeps you logged in until you close the tab.
Hosting and external requests
When you visit the hosted site, your browser sends your IP address and request information to the hosting provider to load the pages. The provider may keep security or access logs; retention depends on its configuration. Contact us for details about the deployed hosting service. If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you send, and use it to answer your request. We do not use account details for advertising or sell them.
Cookies
We don't set tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts and game assets are served with this site. No third-party font requests, analytics or advertising tags are included.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at support@vancouverbcblackjack.com. We cannot access, recover or remotely delete the account data in your browser. Name, email and date of birth are not encrypted; only the password is hashed. Use a password you do not use elsewhere, especially on shared devices. To delete everything, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Children
This site is for adults only. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to register.
